Henry A. Hyatts was the founder of the small community at Liberty and Hyatts Rds. That was known as Hyattville or Hyattsville when platted in 1876, There were 32 quarter acre lots which sold for $80 per lot.
Mr. Hyatts, 1832-1911, was the station agent at the Hyatts depot for the Columbus, Hocking Valley, and Toledo Railroad. He served as postmaster as well and as Justice of the Peace.
