Membership and Donations
The Powell-Liberty Historical Society is a 100% volunteer organization with no paid staff. Grants, donations and membership dues are our only source of income and must cover all expenses. We receive no government funding of any kind.
PLHS is a 501 (c) (3) organization and contributions are tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Options include credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and payment services (Google Pay or Apple Pay if installed on your device). Credit cards are processed with full PCI compliance by Stripe. Stripe also provides access to Google Pay and/or ApplePay services. PayPal and Venmo are processed by the associated services.
PLHS records contact information, membership selection and donation information but does not see, record, process or store any payment account information. The membership/donation form may also be printed and mailed.
