Summary
Brent Davis and Rich Baker captivated the audience while tracing the history of bluegrass music and its many ties to Columbus. They linked the industrial development of the South Side of Columbus after World War II and the accompanying influx of workers from the South with the development of bluegrass establishments in this part of Columbus. They highlighted the appearances of some of the well-known bluegrass bands and the many performers with ties to this area. They ended the program with a short two-person concert. Truly an educational and entertaining evening.
