Powell Liberty Historical Society

On August 10, 2020 Sherry Carmichael led several residents on another walking tour of the downtown. Enthusiasm among the participants wasn't dampened by the Coronavirus pandemic restrictions of wearing masks and safely distancing from each other. On the tour Sherry highlighted many historical buildings and offered interesting anecdotes. This annual event was educational, inspirational and an enjoyable way to spend a beautiful summer evening. A return to the Martin Perry House for refreshments and conversation topped off the evening.
