Title
19th Century American Small Arms Weapons of War
Presenter
Retired Judge Henry Shaw
Date/Time
6/11/2018 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Summary
Judge Shaw, in addition to his many years as a judge in Delaware County, is also a long time civil war buff and reenactor. He will share with us some of his extensive collection of civil war firearms and some interesting related stories. Too large to bring with him on this night, is his restored rifled cannon. However, as you might expect, he does plan to take it to Gettysburg in July to commemorate the anniversary of the famous civil war battle there. How he manages that transport this big cannon should be exciting to learn about. Please join us on Monday evening to hear what promises to be a fun and informative presentation about firearms, restored cannons, and interesting stories from a local Civil War expert.
