Summary
Julian Sharp was a prominent business person in Powell who, along with his son-in-law, operated the hardware store on the NE corner of Olentangy and Liberty Streets. He resided at 80 E. Olentangy St. when the Martins occupied the Martin-Perry house. The house has been restored and expanded for use as a private business. The interior was restored to truly appreciate the beauty of the two original fireplaces, gorgeous sun porch, and intricate woodwork around the staircase. A trove of fun bottles found in the walls of the basement during the restoration will also be highlighted.
The tour will start promptly at 7:00 PM. We will meet first at the Martin-Perry House, 103 East Olentangy Street which is directly across from the Grace Drive intersection at E. Olentangy St.. We will then cross the street as a group to visit 80 E. Olentangy St.
