Summary


An engaged audience listened to Steve Schenck provide a brief description of what archeaology is, why prehistoric people came to Delaware County, the chronology of the eras and the types of artifacts associated with each era, and the evidence that prehistoric people had occupied the region. The talk included numerous photographs of artifacts and the materials used to fabricate the objects. The talk was supplemented by Steve's extensive collection of artifacts that he has found in the Central Ohio region.
