Summary
Brent Carson, retired history teacher and long time Delaware County Historical Society volunteer, gave us an interesting presentation on the early days of sports in Delaware County. Highlighted were many pictures of stadiums in the early 1900s and interesting, and often humorous, anecdotes about school related sports before they became the big business they are today. To add to the presentation, Powell-liberty Historical Society brought several sports related memorabilia from their collection to share with everyone.
