Summary
Always interested in local history, JJ has collected many photographs and information about historical markers of interest throughout the country. His hobby took off as other like-minded folks nationwide joined him to create what is now a significant online resource for local history. The Historical Marker Data Base was born.
JJ Prats will tell us about the 12 year history of the data base, including a map of some nearby markers, the genesis of roadside markers, and a few words about Ohio's brown markers.
