A window into the past of Powell and Liberty Township
Summary
Once again R.J. Basista, re-enactor, set up a frontier encampment at the Martin - Perry House, home to the Powell Liberty Historical Society. This year, R. J.'s 6 year old son Parker joined him for the day. Parker enjoyed all of the festivities and no doubt is a future
pioneer reenactor in the making.
R. J. was available all day to talk about life during the frontier days. There were hands on activities, information and demonstrations. The threat of rain hovered, but held off until the end of the day. A good time was had by all. We look forward to another frontier days event next year.
