Summary
Dr. Ronald St. Pierre, Associate V P and Professor Emeritus, The Ohio State University, portrayed Reverend John Rankin, pastor of the Free Presbyterian church if Ripley, Ohio, who took us back in time to 1851. We attended a lecture by Rev. Rankin sponsored by the Ohio Anti-Slavery Society. Rev. Rankin shared his views on slavery and some of his experiences in the anti-slavery movement, and the underground railroad. It was a very interesting and lively lecture.
